We planted coffee on our farm in 1994 when we moved to the Tweed and as the crop grew and developed a wonderful flavour we established a roasting business to distribute our product.
After the sale of our original roasting business (Carool Coffee Traders) and a decision to change direction, we established Zeta’s Coffee in 2006.
Our strengths have always been our product quality and consistency along with excellent customer service. We have always prided ourselves on the consistent quality of our products as well as our excellent customer service. We work within a small community and many in that community have also taken pride in the product from this area.
Our coffee is roasted weekly as orders are received and the main customer focus is within a 150km radius of our property. This has been extended by our mail order service to all parts of Australia.
WIRUI
ESTATE
Coffee is grown in the volcanic soils of the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. Clean, fine acidity and a full balanced flavour are the signatures of this coffee. Lower caffeine levels are a natural result of the growing conditions. Flavours to find on the palate are caramel, chocolate and cinnamon with a warm spicy finish. This is a clean, natural product, grown without pesticides. This product is Australian owned, grown, roasted and packaged.
NORTHERN RIVERS SINGLE ORIGIN
Has similar characteristics to the Wirui Estate coffee but is sourced from other growers in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. This coffee is also 100% owned, grown, roasted and packaged.
ESPRESSO BLEND
A combination of Northern Rivers Single Origin coffee and some of the richest flavours of South America and Ethiopia. Smoothness and rich chocolate balance the intense, full-bodied blend of the coffee. Full caffeine levels satisfy the ardent coffee drinker.
CAROOL SIGNATURE BLEND
A unique blend using Wirui Estate as the base to which we add five exceptional origins from around the world. We grow our coffee in the small community of Carool, the Aboriginal name meaning “a place of everything”. This blend contains everything a great espresso should contain; complexity f flavours, richness and a smooth finish on the palate.

Zeta’s Coffee is an Australian, family owned plantation and roasting enterprise producing fine, arabica coffee. We both hand harvest and machine harvest to maximize our yield and quality.
This provides local employment as well as satisfying our high product standards. Our local blends are grown using natural production systems and are free of pesticides. We are situated in the Tweed hinterland and through our products you can “Taste The Tweed”.
We have been awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals as well as Champion of Show awards at the Sydney Royal, Fine Food Competition. Zeta’s Coffee is the only coffee to have been nominated in the Vogue Entertaining and Travel Produce Awards in 2008, 2009 and 2010. |
